I trust their experiences, and I show them how to more fully trust themselves.

I’ve Been Through It Too — I’ve been on more diets than I can actually count. I’ve gained and lost weight, hated my body, stressed over calories and fat. I know what it’s like to live like that, and what it’s like to come out of that and have the freedom that comes from making peace with food and weight.

Real Skills, Real Tools — Unlike some forms of traditional therapy, I make sure that my clients get the tools and skills they need to become free of disordered eating and negative body image. We get down to the deep emotional stuff too, but making sure you have the skills you need to go forward in your life is a key component of our work together.
