    What a lovely new blog. I just subscribed!

    I was active in fat acceptance for many years, including 10 years without weighing or dieting. I’m now trying to lose weight through low-carb eating — for reasons of health and comfort — but I still feel that my journey to body acceptance was valid and extremely valuable.

    I no longer feel I have to be thin to be beautiful, lovable or even healthy. Our culture has a sick, twisted relationship with food, fat and women’s bodies.
